We’ve offered inclusive water skiing for years and it’s one of the most popular and exiting activities you can try at our Beach Clubs. From beginners to pro’s we have a fantastic range of kit and ski boats and our Beach Clubs have British Water Ski and Wakeboard (BWSW) 'Accredited Ski School' status, ensuring optimum safety and superb tuition through all levels.

What is water skiing?
If you've never tried it, a Beach Club holiday is a good place to start. One of our inclusive activities, water skiing is a rush!
You typically start sitting in the water, holding onto a rope that is attached to the ski boat. Once you are ready, the boat driver gradually accelerates and as the boat picks up speed, you'll start to see what all the fuss is about as you experience the exhilaration of gliding across the water at speed.
There are various forms of water skiing, including slalom skiing, where the skier navigates a series of buoys and mono skiing - that's using one ski rather than two.

Learn to water ski on a Neilson Beach Club holiday and our brilliant team of water ski experts will help you get started with some useful top tips. There will be a bit of tuition on the ski pontoon and more pointers once you’re in the water. If you're an experienced water skier, the team will be there to help you get the most from your time on the water. All the equipment you could need is included. We have a choice of mono skis, slalom skis and children’s skis and you'll be provided with a buoyancy aid.
You'll get up to 2 free water ski tows per week, 3 if you're on a 10 or 11-night holiday (weather conditions permitting and non-transferable), so why not give it a go, you’ve got nothing to lose.

Can you water ski as a beginner?
Even if you’ve never set foot on a pair of water skis before, beginners are always welcome at our Neilson Beach Clubs. We offer up to two free water ski tows per person per week at Alana, Levante Beach, Vounaki, Messini and Buca Beach Clubs, so you won’t be a beginner for very long!
If you want some more time getting to grips with water skiing, book yourself onto the British Water Ski and Wakeboard (BWSW) bronze award package. You’ll get one-to-one tuition with an experienced instructor, who’ll teach you everything you need to know about water skiing, from how to get onto the skis, to how to ride them with confidence.
Upgrades for intermediate and expert water skiers
If you're pretty confident on your water skis and are interested to skiing most days then you should check out the Silver BWSW award. Available at Alana, Levante Beach, Vounaki, Buca and Messini Beach Clubs, the Silver award for intermediate-level water skiing is available for £175 per person and for that, you’ll get 6 15-minute tows (in addition to your two free tows).
For the experts out there, our Gold BWSW award is just the thing to get you more ski time whilst working on your slalom skills. Head to Vounaki Beach Club if this is for you (£175 per person for 6 15-minutes tows). Guarantee your tows and don't miss out, both are available to pre-book before you set off on holiday,
Where is the best place for water skiing?
Our Beach Club holidays in Europe have perfect conditions for water skiing and mono skiing - think warm water, quiet bays, sunshine, top-notch kit and expert tuition. You can water ski at Levante Beach, Messini, Buca, Vounaki and Alana Beach Clubs.

Water skiing for children
Children love the buzz of water skiing and we have specialist kit to help them make the most of this exciting water sport.
Children who can already water ski can join in with any of our regular free sessions (up to two free tows per person per week) at Levante Beach, Messini, Vounaki or Alana Beach Clubs. Children can also upgrade to the bronze, silver, gold packages.
All children must be at least 120cm tall to enjoy water skiing on our family holidays.
There's also a fantastic range of brilliant kids' clubs for all ages, with activities such as paddle boarding, dinghy sailing, tennis and so much more.

My wife and I have been on other all inclusive breaks, but Messini Beach was head and shoulders above. The resort is big and clean and very tidy. This especially so when bearing in mind we were there the last week of the season. The staff were fantastic and enthusiastic, especially on the tennis courts, where over the weeks tuition, we progressed dramatically. So if you like an active break, including tennis, pickle ball, sailing, paddle boarding, water skiing, cycling, table tennis, wall climbing, swimming and decent food, this is the place. The accommodation is very ample too.
I’m all about the mountain biking and the water skiing. They’ve got a great atmosphere at the cycling centre and are really helpful. Bikes are decent, although the front forks tend to be a bit tired.

Food is perfect, and well chosen to refuel if you’re active. We’ve booked it again for next year.

Tennis coaching was excellent, however.
Meals were excellent.
Plenty of healthy options and lots of local Greek food.
Fish & chicken (I don't eat red meat) tended to be overcooked & a bit dry.
We hired mopeds & travelled down to Lindos & around the centre & south of Rhodes.
We spent a night in Rhodes ahead of taking our direct return flight to Dublin.
Fabulous, and enormous, old walled city. Great marina / harbour areas.
Overall, a wonderful holiday on a lovely island.
