We love Turkey, its people, its culture and its delicious food. We also love the long and varied coastline, sandy beaches, turquoise waters, mountain ranges, lush green hillsides, rock coves and consistent winds, all of which make it the perfect place for a Beach Club holiday.
Whether your thing is gliding out on the water on a catamaran, cruising along the coastline on an eBike, sampling the meze and baklava, swimming or just relaxing in the sunshine our Beach Club in Turkey will hit the spot.
Turkey is a vast country, stretching 1500km from end to end. Cooks Club Adakoy is tucked away on a secluded peninsula just across from the bay of Marmaris. You can explore the old and new towns on your doorstep, as well as the beautiful nearby villages, ancient cities and castles.
When to go
If you’re looking for plenty of sunshine and long, hot summer days, then Turkey is most definitely for you. In May and June temperatures are in the mid to high 20’s, by July and August make sure you slap on the sun cream because it’s hot hot hot! You’ll be looking at mid to high 30’s with up to 12 hours of sunshine a day. Things start to cool down a little in September and October, but there’s still plenty of sunshine and the water will be at its warmest.

Culture
The Turks are a super-friendly bunch and will spend hours talking to strangers. Whilst out and about it’s likely you’ll be offered tea at least once. If you do stop for tea, stay for a second cup – it’s the polite thing to do and you are on holiday, so what’s the rush? Another great tradition is the Turkish bath, you'll be soaped and scrubbed until you are squeaky clean. There's a Turkish bath at Cooks Club Adakoy, so you don't have to go far to literally immerse yourself in this traditional ritual.
The rich and varied history of Turkey is very much part of the day to day, with Roman temples, ancient theatres, churches and Ottoman mosques dotted throughout the country, so you’re never far from a little bit of history. Ephesus, one of the grandest and best preserved sites is approx. 200km away from Cooks Club Adakoy, take a visit here and you'll really get a feel how how life was in times gone by.

Eating like a local
Foodies will not be disappointed with flavours of the Middle East and influences of Asia; the biggest challenge is choosing which dish to try next.
As well as tender Turkish kebabs and grilled meats, you can expect a lot of fresh seafood, plenty of fresh fruit and sun-ripened vegetables on the menu. Turkey is the home of fresh food. There’s plenty to set your taste buds tingling and it’s a great place for vegetarians too.
At Cooks Club Adakoy you will really get to taste the flavours of Turkey with Breakfast and evening meals included with the option to upgrade to 'Feel Free All-Inclusive dining package'.
