Are you ready to fly? Then come and give foiling a go.
The experience of hydrofoiling is often described as flying - gliding effortlessly above the water. It's an amazing feeling, with the board out of the water, everything goes silent and with no feedback from the water's surface, you truly feel like you are flying.
At Levante Beach Beach Club and Cosmos Beach Club, we offer courses in wing foiling, and you can even try a free taster session before committing to a course. Additionally, you can explore windsurf foiling at Levante.

Wing foiling
This fab new sport is a hybrid, a mix, a coming together of new technologies and possibilities from its sibling sports or windsurfing, surf foiling and kiting.
In simple terms, you hold the wing in your hands above your head much like a sail, and then first kneel before standing and pump the board onto the ‘plane’ or foil. Once you’re up, you're away and you can use the wing, the swell, a wave, or your own pumping effort to continue across, up and downwind.
Available at Cosmos Beach Club in Vassiliki or Levante Beach Club in Rhodes.
First flights wing foiling course
This course provides a basic introduction to wing control and board control, an introduction to the kit and how to get up on the foil for the first time. Following this course, you will be able to control yourself on the water and have experienced the buzz of foiling. The course runs for three hours with a maximum of four students and can be pre-booked for £89 per person.
Available at Levante Beach Beach Club and Cosmos Beach Club.
Windsurf foiling
If you can already windsurf to a high level, then join us at Levante Beach Club on the Greek island of Rhodes for your first experience of windsurf foiling.
The feeling is best described as being closest to when you first get planing on a windsurf board and then some. This does take it to another level.
When the board reaches a certain speed, the wings on the hydrofoil generate lift, raising the board and rider above the water. The performance advantage comes from the wind you need (or lack of). When windsurfing you’d normally need over 10 knots to get planing and even then, you’d be using pretty big sails. With foiling, you can get flying in as little as 6 knots and you can use much smaller sails than you normally would.
