Does your skipper's hat need a dust down and your sailing skills require a brush up? If you haven't sailed in a while, we'll get your skills back up to scratch. Join us for a two-day flotilla refresher course specifically designed for the experienced sailor (who already holds a qualification) - however long it may have been.
If you're an experienced dinghy sailor, you can also join this course, bringing your sailing skills to the levels required to sail a yacht on flotilla. So, whether you're a lapsed yachtie or dinghy sailor looking for a bit more, you'll sail with one of our RYA instructors for two days; review the skills you want and practice, practice practice.
When you book this course, you’ll be deciding on the training you need, it’s tailored to the group. Youe instructor is super flexible and will work with you on the skills that you know need polishing up. It could be anything, mooring, reefing, safety procedures etc., just let us know.
You’ll be training on a yacht with up to four others. The training will take place on the first week of your stay and sail holiday, so that you’re all ready to go and confident of your skills for your week on flotilla. As the course is done and dusted in just two days, there’s plenty of time left over to join all the inclusive activities on offer including dinghy sailing.
Our private flotilla refresher courses are great for families or groups that want to learn together. So if there’s a group of you that need a little practice book on a private course and refresh your skills together, it makes learning so much more fun.
You’ll regain the confidence to get yourself from pontoon to quayside, bay or harbour and we’ll be stopping off along the way to enjoy all that sailing brings – picnics, soaking up the sunshine and plenty of swimming.
