Additional care with One-to-One support
At Neilson, we understand that every child is unique and may require extra support to fully enjoy their holiday experience. That’s why we offer a specialised one-to-one care service to ensure children who need extra assistance can participate in our kids' clubs and activities with confidence.
Who is this service for?
Our one-to-one service is ideal for children who may find fast-paced group activities overwhelming or who thrive with a little extra personal attention. Whether your child typically attends a mainstream setting or has specific needs, our team is here to ensure the best possible experience.
What can we offer?
One-to-one care is available at an additional cost of £300 per child. Children receiving one-to-one support enjoy support from one of our dedicated Children’s Activity Leaders:
- Personalised Care: Dedicated attention to help them participate in activities and connect with others.
- Inclusive Experiences: Opportunities to explore, play, and create lasting holiday memories.
- Flexible Care Options: 7 hours of childcare per day, 6 days a week.
We kindly ask families to plan a one-hour collection each day to allow our team members appropriate rest while maintaining consistent, high-quality care.
Evening care options
Evening care is available as part of our one-to-one service, and we’re happy to work with you to arrange this on an individual basis. However, we kindly ask families to consider the need for our team members to have appropriate rest periods when planning so we can come to a reasonable arrangement that works for everyone.
Clearer details on the specific evenings and times available will be provided in the one-to-one request form. We will discuss your family’s needs in detail to determine the best schedule while ensuring that our team is able to provide high-quality care.
Limitations
While we strive to accommodate as many children as possible, there are certain tasks that our team may not be equipped to handle due to staff qualifications, experience, or operational limitations. These include:
- Medical procedures, such as tube feeding, injections, or seizure management requiring medication
- Mobility assistance involving more than one caregiver
- Advanced behavioural support for severe aggression or self-harming behaviours
- Management of specialised equipment, including ventilators or tracheostomies
We recommend parents or guardians provide support for these tasks when required.
