Who is Mark Petchey?
Since 2016 our tennis programme has been endorsed by Mark Petchey a former world’s top 100 players and former coach to Andy Murray.
Mark says “What’s great about Neilson is that there’s something for everyone: you can be a complete beginner or an advanced player and there will be sessions and opportunities for you. I’m a big fan of encouraging participation at all levels, so this is the perfect partnership!”
Mark brings his years of experience as a tennis coach to implement changes that will ensure that no matter what their level, guests can leave the holiday a more confident player. His involvement includes consulting and crafting the overall detailed tennis programme across all resorts. He also works with us to help deliver the Neilson ethos into everything we do on court. He does this by training our amazing coaches in the RPT coaching methodology to provide the guests with the best instruction and overall experience and fingers crossed have inspired them enough to join a Club back home.
