The Neilson Chalet Hotel Montjola is beautifully styled and located just outside of St Anton's centre in the Oberdorf area so access to the lifts and nightlife is a five to 10 minute walk down the hill.
There's plenty of typical Austrian charm mixed in with more modern stylings as you would expect from a good quality hotel in St Anton. The cosy lounge, bar and stube are all very comfortable and give you lots of options to tell your skiing and boarding tales whilst enjoying a well-earned drink. Or head to the small wellness area with its rejuvenating sauna and steam room.
The Montjola is a striking and well-known hotel thanks to its white walls and contrasting dark wood exterior which curves round to offer up some pretty impressive views of the valley from its hillside location.
The nearest lift is the Rendlbahn gondola which is just 500m away. Walk another 150m and you'll have the Galzigbahn and Gampenbahn gondolas to choose from as well. There's also a local bus stop near to the hotel if you don't fancy the walk.

About the resort...
St Anton is known for world-class terrain and a legendary après-ski scene. This is the place for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders to really push themselves and then reward themselves after a big day on the mountain with a stein of beer or a (very) warming shnapps.
It has over 300kms of marked runs and a further 200km freeride area with some huge off-piste challenges. Absolutely stunning scenery adds to the glamour of this amazing resort and with four mountains to explore and loads of steep drops, it’s a great addition to the mighty Arlberg region.
Additions to the lift system means that the entire Arlberg region is connected. Finally, Lech, Zürs, St Cristoph and St Anton are now accessible without having to hop on a bus! Just what the piste hungry were wanting!

Rest and relaxation
Step off the slopes and step into the wellness area to rejuvenate tired legs, ready for another day in this superb ski area.
Take your pick from a large sauna or steam room to soak away any aches and pains. Or if you need a bit more TLC, book a treatment with one of our Temple Spa therapists.
There's an extensive selection of professional sports, deep tissue and hot stone massages available to you. Or for a more sublime experience, our trained experts can help you drift away with an Indian head massage and beauty treatments using Temple Spa products.
Ask a member of staff for information and prices or take a look at the massage and body treatment menu for some inspiration.
Food and drink
Our chalet board basis is designed for skiers and boarders. Breakfast is a fairly extensive affair with cooked and continental options every day. Your daily afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you when you come in from the slopes.
Evening meals are a three-course set-menu with regionally inspired dishes and served with complimentary wine, all followed by fresh coffee. We provide evening meals on six nights a week leaving you free to head out and explore the resort on one evening.
Rooms
Each of the 34 bedrooms which includes a two-bedroom suite are an excellent size and furnished in a contemporary style but still have plenty of natural materials to retain a warm mountain feel. Being in a peaceful, elevated location means you can bank on a restful nights' sleep too.
All rooms have cable TV and a full ensuite with a shower or bath, wc and a hairdryer. You'll also find luxurious Temple Spa toiletries in each bathroom. Many rooms (not all) have a balcony and most that do have superb scenic views out across the valley and mountains.
Most of the beds here are Austrian twins. These are two separate matresses and bed linen on one large bed frame with a common headboard.
